ling was born into a world that left no room for wonder. as a child, she grew up secretly wishing on the same star every night. she didn’t know it was watching her back, or that it held a fragment of someone she loved and lost too early.

when her life unraveled, she left home and wandered into the world alone. somewhere down the road, the star made a choice it had never been meant to make. it tore itself straight from the sky and fell to the earth, right into her arms.

since then, she and ori have been traveling across the world, answering wishes as they go. some small, some strange, but always luminous.
